History

Solite Europe Ltd has been a part of the FW Thorpe Plc group of lighting companies since 2009.

It was established in 1975 under the name Lighting Developments, later U.K. Solite and then becoming Solite Europe in 2003.

In 2015 the company moved from its original premises in Denton to the new factory and offices at Spark Business Park, Stockport, Cheshire, UK and is close to Manchester city centre and Manchester international airport.
